Individuals and families can open or donate to funds that align with their dreams for San Joaquin. Large organizations have blindspots. Your unique vision for the community can fill in the gaps. Whether it’s donating to a pre-existing fund or opening a new one, your gift will make our community a healthier, safer, and more welcoming home. Learn more about how you can contribute below.

Leave a Legacy
The San Joaquin Community Foundation honors those who have made a lasting commitment to our community by recognizing them as Legacy Society Members who leave a gift through their will, retirement plan assets, life insurance, or any other sources.
To get started, contact Louis Ponick, Director of Donor Relations at lponick@sanjoaquincf.org or (209) 943-2375.
A charitable bequest is a simple and easy way to make a gift to an organization. When you leave a gift to the Community Foundation of San Joaquin through a bequest you can designate the funds to the Foundation or to establish a fund in your name that will benefit the community for time to come and becomes your legacy of giving.
Establishing a charitable trust allows you to structure your charitable giving in a way to help you financially. A professional advisor can help establish and design your charitable trust to reduce estate taxes, preserve an inheritance and establish a legacy.
Making a sizable gift through a charitable gift annuity using cash, securities or other assets make you become eligible to take a partial tax deduction, and in addition, providing you a new income stream for the rest of your life.
