Leave a Legacy

The San Joaquin Community Foundation honors those who have made a lasting commitment to our community by recognizing them as Legacy Society Members who leave a gift through their will, retirement plan assets, life insurance, or any other sources.

A charitable bequest is a simple and easy way to make a gift to an organization. When you leave a gift to the Community Foundation of San Joaquin through a bequest you can designate the funds to the Foundation or to establish a fund in your name that will benefit the community for time to come and becomes your legacy of giving.

Establishing a charitable trust allows you to structure your charitable giving in a way to help you financially. A professional advisor can help establish and design your charitable trust to reduce estate taxes, preserve an inheritance and establish a legacy.

Making a sizable gift through a charitable gift annuity using cash, securities or other assets make you become eligible to take a partial tax deduction, and in addition, providing you a new income stream for the rest of your life.
