Do you know a graduating high school senior in need of financial aid? We offer community-funded scholarships to eligible students with post-secondary aspirations. Awards range from hundreds to thousands of dollars and target students based on career interests and educational goals. We encourage eligible San Joaquin County high school seniors to explore and apply for the available scholarships below. 

The 2022/23 scholarship application period has closed. Check back in November 2023.

Arturo Vera Art Scholarship

The Arturo Vera Art Scholarship was established by Arturo and Ana Vera to support young people who are pursuing their passions in the Art field.

Avi Raina Scholarship

To continue his legacy and passion, the “Avi Raina Scholarship” was established at the Community Foundation of San Joaquin to benefit local High School Seniors.

Bill Pollard Jr. Scholarship

The Bill Pollard Jr. Scholarship was established by Bill and Kimberley Pollard to support young people who are pursuing their passions in the Business field.

John & Francesca Vera Community Leadership Scholarship

The John & Francesca Vera Community Leadership Scholarship was established by John and Francesca Vera to support students of Hispanic/Latino descent who have an interest in community leadership.

Robert & Catherine Lagorio Scholarship

The Robert & Catherine Lagorio Scholarship was established to support students from San Joaquin County pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.

San Joaquin Society for Human Resource Management Scholarship

The San Joaquin Society for Human Resource Management Scholarship was established to support students who have an interest in becoming Human Resource professionals.

Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund

The Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund was established to support students who will be playing on college sports teams.

Taylor Farms Pacific Educational Scholarship

Taylor Farms Company takes pride in its employees and is excited to be able to provide these scholarships. The Taylor Farms Company scholarships are open to children and grandchildren of Taylor Farms Pacific or On-Time Staffing employees.

Robert & Catherine Lagorio Scholarship

The Robert & Catherine Lagorio Scholarship was established to support students from San Joaquin County pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.

  • Scholarship Amount: $1,000 – $2,500 (Veterinary Technician or Assistant); $5,000 (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree)
  • Open To: All high school seniors in San Joaquin County pursuing a career in the Veterinary Field. High School graduates of San Joaquin County who are currently attending college and who have been accepted into a Veterinarian Medicine School to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree may apply for the $5,000 DVM scholarship.

Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund

The Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund was originally established as the Jester’s Club Athletic Scholarship Fund in 2015 at the Community Foundation of San Joaquin. The fund was renamed the Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund in 2020.

  • Scholarship Amount: $1,500 (two renewable scholarships will be awarded this cycle, which means you could receive up to $6,000 over four years.)
  • Open To: All high school seniors at any school located in the City of Stockton who will be playing on a college sports team
  • GPA Requirement: N/A

Taylor Farms Pacific Educational Scholarship

Taylor Farms Company takes pride in its employees and is excited to be able to provide these scholarships. The Taylor Farms Company scholarships are open to children and grandchildren of Taylor Farms Pacific or On-Time Staffing employees.

  • Scholarship Amount: For the 2022/23 scholarship cycle, a total of up to $22,500 in scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships range from $2,500 to $5,000. These are one-time scholarships.
  • Open To: All graduating high school seniors planning to attend, and students currently attending, a Four-Year U.S. University, State College, Community College, Technical or Vocational School; and to be eligible, you must be a child or grandchild of a Regular Full-Time Taylor Farms Pacific or On-Time Staffing employee, employed for a minimum one (1) year at the company, and in good standing.
  • GPA Requirement: 3.0 GPA minimum
