Opening an Agency Fund with the Community Foundation is a wise decision for stewarding an organization’s resources and showing donors you are planning for the future. We know our money is in the hands of people who care about our mission as much as we do.

Thanks to the funding we received, our Community Strong Family Healing Circles is now partnering with families to acknowledge and repair harm through family restorative healing circles. These families are walking away with tools to understand their own trauma, create safe spaces to process stressors, and develop tools to support their resiliency.

The Child Abuse Prevention Council is a place where families can turn in a time of crisis. We are grateful to the Community Foundation for recognizing the importance of this work in our community.

This pandemic highlighted the disparities and exacerbated economic insecurity within the minority-owned small business community. The Community Foundation’s partnership has helped us secure the financial support we need to ensure African American and minority owned businesses not only survive this season, but remain pillars of their communities for generations to come.

There are far too many students in our county whose incredible potential is limited by the financial resources available to them. The work of the Community Foundation and the scholarship programs it supports are essential to helping our youth forge brighter futures for themselves and their families.
