“With the support of this grant, the agency was able to purchase a new refrigerated all-wheel-drive cargo van, allowing us to replace an older vehicle whose maintenance cost and repairs exceed the vehicle’s value. Since our meals delivery routes often require our vehicles to travel in a variety of unfriendly road and weather conditions, the new vehicle will enable us to better confront the terrain and challenging conditions our delivery drivers often face on a day-to-day basis.  With a new refrigerated meal delivery vehicle, we expect to be able to lower our fuel consumption, lower our vehicle maintenance cost, increase delivery capacity, and improve meal delivery reliability.”
