[STOCKTON, CA] The Community Foundation of San Joaquin (CFOSJ) is pleased to announce their annual on-line community fundraiser, 209Gives, will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

Non-profit organizations across San Joaquin participate in 209Gives, working closely with their network of board members and supporters on this day dedicated to raise much needed funds. In addition, 209Gives shines light on the important work being done by these local nonprofits that serve our community. Every dollar donated supports life-enhancing programs like theatre, music, and art programs; and libraries and museums … and critical services like food pantries, aid for the homeless and so much more. This year, sponsors are also being sought to join the efforts of 209Gives.

“We are pleased to partner with our sponsors and non-profit organizations for this very important fundraising project. In addition to much needed funds, 209Gives raises the awareness of the important work local organizations provide to our community,” said Moses Zapien, CEO and President of the Community Foundation of San Joaquin. “This year we anticipate more than 100 non-profits will participate and reach our goal of $400,000.”

In 2020, more than $350,000 was raised to support 70 local nonprofits in their missions to serve the community of San Joaquin County through 209Gives. Mark your calendar to join us on-line, Tuesday, April 13th!
