Reinvent South Stockton Coalition – Williams Brotherhood Park Beautification & Activation

Fund: Community Health Fund
Grant: $21,900.00 (Fiscally sponsored by Tides Center)

“Support from the Community Foundation has allowed RSSC to engage South East Stockton residents to expand the amenities and programs offered at Williams Brotherhood Park, the primary park serving more than 50,000 residents in a historically disinvested community  neighborhood with some of the most impacted health outcomes in the state. The grant supports activities that include a new mural, park beautification volunteer days, community meetings and events, and stipends for local residents to serve as ‘park stewards’ by monitoring and caring for park amenities, such as the restrooms.”
