Louis Ponick joined the San Joaquin Community Foundation in January 2020. Prior to accepting the position of Director of Donor Relations, he served as the Foundation’s Director of Grants and Scholarships. Louis has served as Assistant Dean for Development at the University of the Pacific’s School of Engineering and Computer Science, as the National Director of Major and Planned Gifts at the PETA Foundation in Berkeley, CA, and as CEO of the Save-Mart Employee Association in Modesto, CA. He has a B.A. from Sonoma State University and an M.B.A. from C.S.U. Sacramento.

Presently, Louis is responsible for providing top-quality customer service to current and potential fund holders, and ensuring a consistent donor experience across the organization.
