The Stockton Meal Project was developed to help address the disproportionate impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on food insecure families and the local restaurant community.
The Project works with locally owned restaurants, many of which are minority owned, to purchase chef prepared meals, which are then distributed by nonprofit partners to families living in underserved communities throughout Stockton. Recognizing that the impacts of COVID-19 will be long lasting on our community, the Stockton Meal Project is envisioned to continue for years to come.
Every $16.00 donated supports a family in need with a complete nutritious meal that is chef-prepared.

Your generosity has brought residents comfort, a good night sleep with a full stomach and more time for the residents to spend with each other without the burden of preparing and cleaning up after the meal. It’s also brought them comfort knowing that someone who doesn’t know them personally cares enough to think about them and their situation. This brings them hope and stamina to keep on with their journey of healing and creating a new life for themselves.
