Going to Work for San Joaquin County
As the San Joaquin Community Foundation, we recognize the depth of disparities and inequities in our county, and we prioritize efforts to work with and support disenfranchised and marginalized communities. We listen to the needs of our residents, we inspire generosity, and we create a bridge between those who have time and money to give and those closest to the challenge. Our Values

Our Affiliates
Our affiliate relationships allow each organization to maximize their impact by accessing the administrative and accounting support of the San Joaquin Community Foundation. By managing the back office support functions for these organizations, they are able to focus on their mission, building capacity, and doing grantmaking in the area they serve to address current and future community needs. These relationships makes us vital partners in our shared work to make our communities one where everyone can thrive.
Lodi Community Foundation (LCF) was established in 2005 to help accomplish the philanthropic goals of the Lodi community effectively, efficiently and in a sustainable manner. The mission of LCF is to advocate and facilitate charitable giving to create lasting legacies that build a stronger Lodi community. For the past 16 years, LCF was an affiliate of Sacramento Region Community Foundation (SRCF). During that time, LCF enjoyed a strong philanthropic partnership with SRCF, enabling LCF to grow its charitable assets. LCF acknowledges that it could not have achieved its current level of growth without the support and guidance of SRCF.
Now, as LCF seeks to grow local capacity to have an even greater impact, all three community foundations agree that the time has come to make this important affiliate change to San Joaquin Community Foundation. LCF houses 38 unique charitable funds totaling more than $5 million in assets. Learn more at www.lodicommunityfoundation.org
Three Valleys Community Foundation (3VCF) is a new geographically based community foundation established in 2021. The vision of 3VCF is to enhance the quality of life in the Tri-Valley and greater East Bay area- serving Amador, Livermore, and San Ramon Valleys, an area that encompasses the communities of Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Sunol. 3VCF works with donors and nonprofits to achieve their impact goals through inclusive leadership, thoughtful funding, informed giving and collaborative action.
Through a competitive RFP process, 3VCF selected San Joaquin Community Foundation to affiliate with and provide support in the early startup stages of the organization. 3VCF houses 6 unique charitable funds totalling more than $200,000 in assets. Learn more at www.3vcf.org.
